Another set of 2015/2016 BMW F87 M2 picture renderings

The upcoming F87 BMW M2 will be a very popular vehicle. It has been a while since BMW had a lightweight, affordable, well balanced, and fun to drive car where electronics and heavy luxury features did not take away from the driving experience. The M2 proposes to get back to some of the Ultimate Driving Machine principles and due to its price point of entry it will be far more attainable for far more BMW enthusiasts.

It is no surprise then to see more and more renderings pop up. This particular set is well done and basically takes F82 M4 styling cues and applies them to the F22 body style. What it is missing though is more aggressively flared fenders. Additionally, it sure looks like in the kidney grill the badge says M4 and not M2. If a graphic design artist wants to be taken seriously this little touches are important.

Regardless, enjoy this latest set of renderings.

There's no way BMW will make the M2 faster.

stock 335i is faster than the 135i , but after modding both cars with bolt on's both of them will have the same hp but the 135i is supposed to be faster due to its lighter weight , i thought that its gonna be the same for the m2 and m3

No that logic does not apply because the 335i and 135i both have the same motor. The M2 and M3 will not.

Really, that one is hard to believe... I think it's pretty much the driver on which one is faster but technically on paper the 135i would be faster due to weight... 135i curb weight around 3350 and 335 weighs about 200 pounds more.

Would be so cool plus an actual link to the past. MB already showed you can have a performance four-cylinder even if you are known for bigger motors.

BMW had the best naturally aspirated four-cylinder in the world for a while. They already produce a turbo 2.0 liter that's excellent. A little M magic sprinkled on it and you have a 3200-3300 pound M2 with ~350 horsepower.

If BMW listened to anything I wrote a whole lot of people who work there would have been looking for new jobs years ago.
