German tuning firm, Manhart Racing, has just released a couple of images teasing its upcoming project for the new BMW M4. Working with the M4’s standard six-cylinder 3.0-liter engine, the tuner says it has managed to milk the stock engine, upping its output from 425 horsepower to 550. The Manhart MH4 550 project also adds a new body kit to the car, including various carbon-fiber parts, a redesigned hood, front spoiler and new kidney grille.

Exterior upgrades continue on the side and the rear, with wide side skirts and a new rear diffuser, in addition to a new trunk-lid spoiler that flows seamlessly into the newly-painted side stripes. Finally, the car’s brakes and suspension will also be upgraded, and larger wheels will be fitted in the back.

ehh, manhart cars are weak from what i've seen besides Gustav kissing their asses on youtube. the M4 is loving the power boosts though even on stock turbos

No dynographs, no performance numbers, no care. Manhart is just a big (kind of) name. I hate how European tuners make these claims without backing anything up.

but i mean come on, they SAY they're getting 550bhp. and dont't forget that the body kit with updated diffusers go nicely with the newly painted side stripes good for another 100bhp Click here to enlarge

    This is 550 bhp...

Terry@BMS with E85 is above this at whp almost with E85 and/or MS109... easy peasy

This M4/M3 is MUCH BETTER than I thought and cheaper and probably better than my modded 996 Turbo S which has been more $$$$ than the best modded M4 already

FYI, they use a MAHA dyno- which is considered one of the best dyno's out there.
I've become their second distributor in the United States.
I'm willing to toss a few things on some cars, for you know- science.

Who wants to put this to the test?

Fret not, if you wanted to you could have that Porsche running faster than any S55 will for a long, long time. Your car > M4 no question.

With that said it's cool we're already seeing some stout numbers from the new M.
