    Succinct. To the point.

SteveAZ has delivered everything as promised and seems to take pride in it.

    I have no complaints either.

Any long-term test results with Steve's pumps? Any failures? Are they all still running?

It's only been a month for me but so far so good. No blown fuses, no cylinder shut down due to starvation, not once has it left me stranded due to bad connections and my LPFP PSI is still significantly higher than OEM.

My only complaint is I'm still waiting for @SteveAZ to come out with his dual LPFP Click here to enlarge

^ this....that's my question, too. Can you run 100% E85 just with Steve's Walbro 450 and stock HPFP???

I heard speculations that is was possible, but would take special tuning

I don't have access to a computer today to make pretty graphs Click here to enlarge but here is a link to one of my logs running 100% E85 (verified E80). This was on stage 2 lpfp with stock turbos, stock HPFP, stock rail, FBO with no meth. Temp was 71 degrees at the time and I'm at about 1200'.

Tuning plays a huge part in it, but if you're going to run 100% E85, you should tune for it anyway.

There are a lot of variables that determine what your max ethanol percentage is but I always recommend starting at e60, logging, and working your way up from there.

If you have questions or would like for me to evaluate logs, send them to me at bmw.fuelkits@gmail.com

I do run 100% e85 with stock turbo and hpfp. The only update I have in regard to fueling is the inline pump. Yes, I run custom back end flash.

Stage 1 LPFP (255 inline) on 100% E85 (Verified E80) at 67 degrees. These were taken the same night as the stage 2 logs above, same tank of fuel.

    HPFP

Both solutions are going to max out a stock HPFP.

Stage 1 is more cost effective and is plenty sufficient.

Stage 2 is a cleaner install, E85 certified and flows more fuel. But as I said, this is irrelevant as the stock HPFP can't make use of the higher flows.

    Steve,

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on one of your LPFP solutions. I'm would be quite happy running E40-E60. I want to install a plug and play, high quality, upgraded LPFP. What is the major improvement of purchasing a new build from you, versus a rebuild?

There is no "improvement" or difference in performance between any of the Stage 2 options. They are all plug and play and they all include a new pump and filter.

"New builds" are for those customers that can't or don't want to return their stock LPFP. Most are either international customers or users who no longer have a completely stock LPFP to use as a core. In those cases I take a brand new LPFP, discount it, and upgrade it for them.

"Trade-in" is just that, I ship you completely upgraded LPFP, and you ship back your stock LPFP to get your deposit back.

"Rebuild" is when you send in your LPFP for upgrade. Most customers can't be without their car for a few days, but some can or already have an extra LPFP to send in. In most cases the actual "rebuild" takes place within 24hrs and they are all shipped out Priority mail.

Steve, I'd like your thoughts on this E40 data log I ran last September using a PTF E40 map. I am almost FBO (stock DP). HPFP seems to be holding above the 2000 psi level while the LPFP heads down towards 40 psi. My STFTs were getting pretty high, too. Thanks.

Looks like you've got a pretty good understanding of what's going on. Click here to enlarge

LPFP was definitely struggling, but it didn't bring your HPFP down with it which is kind of surprising as those LPFP values get pretty low. Your STFTs do need to be adjusted, especially if you plan on running E60. Once you adjust those, your LTFTs will completely flatline at zero although they don't look bad now. Timing looks good, I'm guessing no Alpina flash? Click here to enlarge
