If so then the "Double Barrel" would come in two options one for flash only cars, and one for Piggy cars, with the piggy version being slightly cheaper as we would not need to include the activation system.
is said activation system fairly reliable? Is it a smooth engagement, too? say you set it just before your single pump would take a dump, is it totally un-noticeable except maybe a tiny blip on a log? (or is that refinement to come from stage 3 E85 testing?) - it sounds like the JB4 if it can be programmed right will absolutely love this setup Click here to enlarge

what's the downside to having it ALWAYS activated? the stock control just doesn't know what to do with it/too much flow or something?

With the 'double barrel' system, should it provide actually double the flow

also cool to know you worked out that you COULD overdrive it after you tried for long enough haha, even if it had to be a very precise level of overdrive Click here to enlarge

    hopefully not haha

.. time to find the limits of the stock INJECTORS now.. how exciting is that? (not sarcastic, that's amazing the platform is able to do that in a few months!!)

*adds to list* because i just NEEDED to have another couple of grand to spend haha

That's honestly not why we posted the numbers, we wanted to show exactly how capable the system and motor are on 100% E85. We think they show that.
wait.. were these runs done with stock head, or dzennos ported head? It says stock head in your top post lol

    the 558whp run i mean

if it's with the ported head.. well that's barely above dzennos previous record run, with LOADS more boost and E85? Gearing sure does screw with things in that case hah

This is fantastic. Just a quick question, are we able to purchase replacement parts if something does fail? Or do we have to get a whole new pump setup?

I just want to add I'm extremely happy for all of you and it chipped away at me internally to sit on the details for so long.

Tony did a fantastic job with the data and write up here. Due to the long weekend I planned on putting this up on Tuesday to get maximum exposure as many people are out of town (like I am).

Tony was too excited to wait and rightfully so. I will put the article up on Tuesday though. I'll see what I can do about maybe giving one of these away (they are not cheap so no promises) as well to show BimmerBoost continues as it traditionally has to push and positively support the N54 platform and community.

I'm very impressed with Tony's approach and professionalism with this upgrade. He kept in touch with me continually on the progress and his presentation pleasantly surprised me. I mean that in the best way possible.

Congrats to all, great work, and all of that. Enjoy the holiday people.

I think you have a good idea here. $5 a ticket works? Proceeds can go to charity? Like buying and disposing of Procedes?

I think that's what we will do. A charity raffle so someone gets a pump and we help someone less fortunate who doesn't have the luxury of their biggest problems in life being buying car parts.

I'll work this out with Tony and my wallet. I doubt Vargas Turbo Tech will be against a charity raffle. That's good PR.

First of all congrats to Tony!...He has been working very hard on this for a while now.

Like Tony, I'm trying to juggle time with the wife and getting in these experiments and so on.

So real quick...to give Tony what I promised, to follow up on his reference, and not hijack the thread.

Here is a test for dual 450's in parallel. I have a configuration in mind but wanted to test it prior to moving forward. This only represents a sample configuration....in the final one the two 450's will be bound by a similar fitting that I've designed and would get both 450's in the bucket. In the tank, it'll be plug and play but I'm thinking we're going to need to do a relay and drive the second pump under high demand only and will require that you all install a relay and run it off the JB4 trigger or a Hobbs switch.

    Here's a vid.

    Very exciting news!
    @VargasTurboTech
I assume this will work on N55s as well?
I know the need might not be as pressing, but I'm keen to safely run 100% e85 with your Stage 2 turbo.
I have an upgraded LPFP and thinking the single barrel kit should be plenty.

Honestly no idea if it will fit the N55, we have not test fit it at all on an N55, the motors are similar, so I assume it might, but I am sure certain things would have to be changed, once we get the N54 version on the shelves, if someone wants to bring us an N55 to test fit on, we can see what needs to be changed it anything.

Nice job Tony! I do have a couple questions. 1) Is the single barrel enough for 100% E85 on upgraded stock frame turbos (RBs or VTT S2)? 2) Is there any warranty for failed hardware? and 3) Will I need to send in my stock HPFP first in order to get it modified?
