MikeWads "Storm Shadow" - New 60-130mph Supercharger ONLY *HD Video*

I've recently been able to achieve some incredible new 60-130mph times over the past couple weeks thanks to the some adjustments AJ @ ESS made to my tune and the cooler weather.

I'm currently running the VT2-575 hardware (98mm pulley) and the ESS DCT software. I also swapped out the Akrapovic system for Borla's full race setup which has no cats. The car was at full weight with 93 octane.

what % decline was that? seemed kinda on the verge of not being less than 3% though. also, is it normal for the car to build boost that slowly? ive never had a centri s/c, but on my 99 Lightning (roots s/c), it built boost instantly..

nice job dude! and it sounds very understated, but that's in-cabin sound?

LM: with a centri, the more revs you give it the more boost it pushes. so until he gets to his 'shifting rev range' hes going to seem a bit sluggish. sticky has a thread going about blowers and why centri not twin-screws. you should read up on it.

They don't build boost instantly, basically, the more your rev the more boost you have. That is why they pair well with the M3 torque curve.

Have you missed all that twin screw vs. centri talk going on in this forum?

Great vid btw! Did not realize you were running the Rixster gauge, looks great!

Are you still planning to do a thread on why you lowered boost? I'm curious about that.

I installed the gauge about 3 weeks ago. It looks really nice and I like being able to check max boost after the run. Still planning on it.
