    Log advice

    hey guys
    just finished installing my BMS meth kit and did 2 logs and im hoping you guys could help me out.
    looking to make sure every things running right or any suggestions for settings.

    your meth kicks in like it should but your boost is not hitting target at all. Map 3 with meth you should be getting around 17 psi. You only hit about 14.

    sorry guys didnt realize i wasnt on the latest firmware and G% ISO settings
    ill have new logs in the morning hopefully

    Yes this is on map 3.
    And I dont know much about logging but yes that seems to be an issue people are pointing out.
    I noticed it in the log but didnt know I should be hitting 17psi until today

    After the second log when I went long into 4th I got a vanos code and the car went into engine reduced mode.
    I have 2 new solenoids ready to go in so should I try that before the 50 additive?

    ok heres the log with 2 new VANOS solenoids,still doesnt look to me like im hitting 17psi tho.

    Looks fine.

    You're in the high 16s and thats what you're car is targeting.

    Up the additive some more and log again.

    Was the latest log on a 40 additive? If so, then it's exactly where it should be.

    okay...now i know what the target line is for...thanks lol so target boost is the boost the jb4 is asking for and then boost is just the actual boost?
    yes all logs have been with the 40 additive.
    should i just start with 45 or jump straight to 50?

    terry and russel from BMS have seen the log and both say it looks fine.
    russel said to raise FOL to 80,im going to change this and the meth aditive to 50 and then log again.

    Your last log looked very solid. Much better than the ones before the solenoid replacement. The JB4 meth logic doesn't add the additive to 12psi anymore. It's more of an algorithm thing. A lot of it depends on your fuel octane and methanol %. 40 add is recommended for people running 93 oct and 50% meth. If you're running higher concentrations of meth up the additive. If you're running any ethanol with your pump gas up the additive more. When I was running E40 and 100% meth I was able to run a 70add with no timing pulls. You're not getting any timing pulls so I'd say it's safe to up it 5 points at a time. All in all, it looks like everything is running as it should be.
    2011 335is DCT, JB4 + MHD BEF, stage 2 LPFP, e50 + 50/50 meth, FBO, MT ET Streets when needed

    You're definitely running leaner than me.

    That's the only concern I have but if Terry says it's fine then it's fine.

    No timing pulls and boost is on point. I'm running 60 additive daily and 70 additive at the strip so it's safe to say 50 should be fine. With 50 you should be in the 17psi range.

    I use the wedge flash which targets 13 on timing and boost is around 18-19psi for me. It pulls harder for me than the older bms maps. I think I read somewhere that the newer ones have more timing. Either way your logs are ok.

    The new BMS e85 AT flash is more aggressive on timing. It is 14.5 degree instead of 12. I guess wedges was right about 15degree on e85.

    heres 2 new logs from today with the meth additive at 50 and the FOL set at 80 like russel told me.
    ill send them over to him also,let me know what you think please.
    air fuel seems to be a little lower but not by alot.
    and im not running any flashes just JB4 map 3 with additive at 50 spraying 100% meth.
