I'm on the road right now but I just thought it was cool to fit a big boy BW EFR turbo in there....most people would say fitment would be close to impossible due to the size if the BW EFR..

Here his nick on e90 if anyone wants to ask questions or look into it for interest: Pulsar

you had an efr turbo? From what I've seen and have been told by a fabricator they really are the best of the best. I've only seen a handful of dyno's and just actual cars running them (all not bmw's). But comparison to other turbos it seemed much more efficient than other similar sized turbos on those platforms. Full race swears by them.

They used to be the $#@!!! For whatever reason there have been ALOT of failures lately. And yes, fastgti had one on his Cobalt SS and it failed VERY quickly. Not sure why, I'm sure he'll chime in. I loved them a few years ago, to me there wasn't a better turbo out. Now, I'm pretty much strictly a Forced Performance turbo guy. Never had one fail and I've pushed them WELL past their efficiency range.

They are most definitely one of the best turbos on the market with the best technology, only thing in comparison is Garret GTX series. Anyways, I had a 6758 EFR ran about 22 psi DD, mind you conservative. I barely ran it for 7 months and it blew during a pull to 150+ lol. It spools very fast, and has a lot of low end torque, but I'm not a fan of the DV. There is a lot of flutter, and I feel it puts strain on the turbo. Another reason to think why mine blew.
