    FFTEC Top Mount Checklist?

I am the planning process of pulling the trigger on the FFTEC Top Mount 6466 set up. I want to confirm everything, and make sure nothing gets over looked. I am currently FBO running JB4 G5.

    Checklist:
    FFTEC Kit
    PT6466
    Steve 450LPFP
    Mac Solenoid
    5series coolant reservoir
    Anything else?

5 series coolant reservoir? I think it's a 335d reservoire you're looking for. Make sure you have clutch as well etc.

yes the 335D. I got Spec 2+ with less than 5k. I think might have to step up to 3+, we shall see how it holds to 600+ hp

3.5 BAR map sensor. Can be purchased from Burger Tuning.

If you don't have it already, you're going to need a meth kit, or maybe the Vargas or PTF options will be available by the time you're ready.

Also, if you're going to use that large of a turbo, I'd suggest at minimum going with ported heads, and possibly a built motor. NO way a stock N54 will be able to push the 6466 to see that turbo's full potential.

other than that, just other supporting chassis improvements, LSD, maybe suspension, trans upgrades, etc.

i have meth kit as well.. Well I am caught between 6466/6266, the difference on the turbos are the peak hp tolerance and spool times. I am up upgrading my rear subframe bushings with powerflex. I am looking at Quaife or Mfactory for LSD. As well as I am getting the Defiv Lock down kit. I have coilovers for my suspension.

Nice, what coilovers? I need some, curious as to how you like what you have.

I'd suggest looking into forcedperformance.net I personally purchased the HTA3586r and will have dyno's, logs, and hopefully 1/4 results within the next week. It's sized equivalent to the PT6262 but has a larger exducer on the compressor wheel and has a higher power potential. Should spool at least as quick or quicker than the 6262.

I am running ST by KW, I don't have any problems with them, they are pretty stout for the price. I had H&R Pro Street, but shop I took it to manage to strip my brand new coils! After that day since, I worked on my car on my own. Lol

    Ok, Ill check them out.

Haha tell me about it! I would go with bilstein if money permits, but can't go wrong with KW either.

How much is that going to set you back? Who are you doing it with? What LSD are you running?

How do you like that LSD? Not too many reviews on it compared to Quaife.

    Looking forward to it!

OP if you purchased the Hot Parts Kit, you will also need the following items:

    90 degree 1.5" silicone coupler
    Hose clamps for silicone coupler
    Coolant plugs
    Water pipe gasket
Oil hose for oil drain lines
Hose clamps for oil drain lines
Reflective tape for valve cover (valve cover should be trimmed for clearance)
Heat wrap for exhaust manifold and downpipe - 010126 Titanium Exhaust Wrap; Dimensions: 1" x 50' **I would also order a roll of the 2" for the downpipe**
Turbo heat shield - DEI part #010145 T4 Titanium Turbo Shield Kit
    OEM exhaust manifold gasket rings
    Turbo mounting hardware
    Oil return line gasket
    Oil return flange
    Turbo gasket (T4 divided)

The oil feed line will also need to be assembled, FFTEC reccommends Aeroquip parts.

All the hardware items associated with the upgrade is getting ordered with the FFTEC hot parts.

So the checklist is sitting at:
    FFTEC Kit includes all hardware
    PT6466/6266
    Steve 450 LPFP
    MAC Solenoid
