    30FF - Yeah, I'd Say That's a Boost Leak

This ever happen to anyone? Did a hard 2nd gear pull in an "emergency maneuver" to get around someone, heard a loud POP, then got the half engine light, 30FF, and general failboating. Got home and popped the hood and saw this shenanigans. Nothing is broken...just popped off. I put it back together and tightened the hell out of that clamp but I'm almost afraid to step on the gas now...anyone else ever experience this? I've been running on the Cobb OTS stage 2 map for a few months now but this is the first and only time it's happened. Click here to enlarge

it happens. I would check to make sure there is no oil in that connection and that you get it very tight.

Wow, how much boost are you running? Those clamps may have just come loose over time.

Use a T-bolt clamp and make sure you clamp behind the flange on the up pipe. It'll never pop off again.

the stage 2 map have a lot of boost on low rpm, i think that's why. It make my clutch slip sometimes... I went back to jb4 now and no slippage issues anymore.

It's just the OTS stage 2 map. When I put the IC in I [thought I] did a damn good job tightening everything down. I've done many pulls; just happened this one time so I wasn't sure if this is just something that I need to get used to or if I'm doing something wrong.
