    S55 m3 launch control video

A member on another forum took delivery of thier new 2015 dct m3 with the s55. He has been sharing his experiences with the car.

Here is the launch control video....

Hmmmm I'm very surprised by the redline (looks like 7100?), also the sound of a stock s55 is good but obviously nothing like a s65. The car looks quick, but not blazing fast. Seems a lot like a modded n54 to me. I'll be hanging onto my s65 for a long time...

The exhaust is very monotone. S65 was very raw in comparison. My C63 revs higher than that... at least after my last tune.

@bobS Redline is 7600rpm not 7100rpm...but on the other forum they say how it shifts ~7100rpm due to torque falling off...Apparently it determines when to short shift by itself...

2000 km. So much for gradually building revs and speed after break in.
