AA releases a Race Muffler for the s54 E46 m3

AA has a come out with a new muffler focused on light weight, and an increase in power. When I heard they were doing this I couldn't resist ordering it. I put my order in Wednesday, and got it today. The exhaust was packaged very well as pics will show. AA put that weight of its exhaust at 23lbs that about a 40lbs weight reduction over stock. I will have sound clips of the exhaust along with pictures of the install. For now this is what I have.

Looking forward to the sound clips and those are good weight savings. The stock muffler is an anchor.

    How many $$?

I haven't picked up the car yet, but I will have more vids/pics once I do. According to Max Psi the install was smooth, and simple. A nice throaty deep tone. Can't wait to hear it in person. Click here to enlarge

Not the amount of rasp I thought it would have. Very clean sound.

I agree the tips aren't my thing but to each their own.

Yea if I don't like them in person I'll have Max Psi make me some other 1's, or maybe AA will make another set of tips.

The car sounds good! But in all seriousness those tips have to go. They just don't fit the look of the M3 and it's bumper.

Sounds great. Looking forward to other tip options.

Decided last week I need another E46 M3. On the hunt, this will be my third. I will keep this one for a long time, eventually become a dedicated track car.

Yea the wife thinks its a bit too loud, so I may end up selling it sadly due to that. We'll see if it grows on her. If you are interested let me know via pm.

Do you have a rasp eliminator? Or is the rest of your exhaust stock.

Your exhaust would sound amazing with some headers. The best E46 M3 exhaust setup is headers(no cats), stock section 1/2, rear race section.

Ebay headers, stock 1/2, Supersprint Race rear section.
