    Anyone here speak German? Translation regarding BMW i9 model

    First I've seen an i9 mentioned. Could someone translate this?

    It says that bmw has bought the name rights from i1 to i9. An i5 is coming in the VW golf class by the end of 2016. An i9 would be a luxury electric car to celebrate the firms 100 years. (jay, no M1 revival then...).

    The message of the article is that the customer has to be "educated", to get fleet consumption down in order to meet CO2 regulations. So big engines will be more expensive or even discontinued.

    Thanks for the translation. Looks like BMW is positioning an i lineup to mirror their internal combustion lineup. So we'll have i1, i2, i3, i4, and so on...

    I've seen an i3 around the corner from me and it is ugly as hell. Looks like a yaris and a Prius put together

    I don't feel it's ugly. I think the design is nice. I feel that it does look like Apple would put together though. It also looks like you can just push the dinky thing over.
