I dunno bud. With my DSC off I have zero problems controlling my M6, it's a very wide car with a chassis begging for more, but that's just my take. I have above average driving skill too, I consider myself a pretty ballsy and experienced driver.

Not saying it can't, but it certainly isn't going to handle a significant power increase as well as a Gallardo, R8, GTR, etc or other more "big power" friendly street cars. Since we're talking TT setups, a simple bolt-on system you're probably looking at going from a bolt-on 550 BHP to 900 BHP with an ass load more TQ.

Now I don't expect the OEM internals to handle that, but I'm sure with forged internals & still using the OEM CR, you could probably have a setup with very low spool & approaching 1k WHP.

The new ///M cars are much more "tuner" friendly platforms. Switzer's one of the few tuning houses that's noticed the big Euro switch to TT platforms & has started offering AMG & M car packages.

Even with the supercharger systems out now they seem pretty conservative. I have yet to see anyone experiment with meth, nos,or any kind of high boost (relatively speaking). It's been out for a while now, I would like to see it pushed to its limits. If done right I think it could knock the s54 off its thrown as the highest hp BMW engine

That's a good point, BMW did this for the M5 CSL if I recall correctly.

It was just a one-off project to honor the M5. They ran it on the ring but never built it. It wouldn't have made sense to have an M5 with two seats anyway.

But they could have done an M6 CSL...

I wonder if it's possible to get the stroker parts they used in the M5 CSL. I was speaking to a guy who has a supercharged M5 and he was talking about how ultimately he would love use them. He really likes using OEM parts.

The parts from BMW... no. But it's very easy to replicate with better parts anyway.
