E85 Safe to Run?
There are a few E85 tunes for the 997.1tt that are starting to emerge. It doesn't seem that any special accomodations are needed for the higher ethanol percentage except for larger injectors. That is, it appears that E85 is completely compatible with stock material. It's still early so perhaps problems will emerge later. Any opinions on whether stock car and materials (lines, seals, rings, etc) are completely compatible with E85? I know the car is completely compatible with pump gas containing 10% ethanol.

I don't see why the stock materials would not be compatible, some fuels you have already run no doubt had a small % of ethanol already as you stated. E85 is a much larger % of ethanol though so confirming this is important.
If guys have already been running it without any major changes except for the injectors, I think you would be fine.Chrome Space Bar Issue: http://www.boostaddict.com/showthrea...338#post738338
