    Hennessy scared of the competition?


    dig deep into the vid comments and you'll see John and his famous ways making the most idiotic comment i've ever seen from a tuning company. guess you can't expect more from a straight-line tuning company that overprices their pos cars anyway.

    lolol okay smartass what if the One:1 hits 200mph in less than 17 seconds? enhanced aero, lighter weight and more power means nothing to this man apparently.

    it's also funny cause koenigsegg at least builds their $#@! from scratch. let's somewhat break down the Venom GT cost wise

    Ricardo M-7003 manual transmission $15-20k?
    LS7 Engine $20k?
    Lotus Exige (complete car 85k) parts needed $30-40k
    Extra cheese and tomatoes $40k ?

    soo..~$100k? so what's the extra 0 in the price tag for..oh right the years of R&D and engineering to produce a kit-car lolololol it's almost like DINAN

    Hennessy is a joke. I grew up in an area of Houston with a lot of money and for a while all the rage was Hennessy Vipers... until he screwed over almost every single customer. Shady business practices and terrible final quality products in my opinion. And apparently the opinions of his customers too as they don't buy Hennessy stuff anymore.

    I absolutely love Koenigsegg, always have. It's been between them, Pagani, McLaren, Ferrari, and well...that's pretty much it for who builds the world's best supercar. I honestly believe each one of those companies continuously offers a top shelf model that surpasses anything anyone else builds...except Porsche finally making a car worthy of such a podium in the 918 Spyder.

    The Corvette Z07 is much more deserving of any comparison to a "hyper car" than the worlds' most expensive kit car...the Venom GT. $#@! that car and $#@! Henneblow

    Koenigsegg is in a different league then hennessy. In fact, I would say Koenig is in a different $#@!ing universe. For the money, Hennessy basically gives you a kit car that is good at making donuts. Koenig gives you state of the art spaceship quality machinery that no one can touch. Henny is butthurt.

    having driven then Venom I can tell you it does more than donuts. People have said for the money they could build something faster...well after all this time no one has done it and they def don't have a warranty on the build.

    I saw the agera R at the NY auto show recently, and its was so $#@!ing amazing to see it in person. Really is a work of art and precision. CF everything and the rims!

    I really don't mean faster is specifically the only metric to use for performance for the money.

    I honestly think the technology that goes into the koenig is unreal and on a different level than the venom.

    The koenig has the first ever, production car to feature 100% hollow carbon fiber wheels that weigh something like 7 kilos each.

    The agera compared to the venom? I just cant do it. I dont care if the venom can hit 300, the agera is still in another league.

    Top speed does not mean a car is better built or engineered necessarily. Modern downforce creates drag so you either you sacrifice downforce to be slippier and hit a higher speed or build your car around a design goal. Does anyone seriously think the Venom is better engineered than the 918 Spyder because it hits a higher top speed? Porsche engineers could design a better car than the Venom while doodling on a napkin during their lunch break.
