    You should be doing a PCV delete like the rest of us actually. May be harder to get away with in Cali, I don't know, but it's definitely not something I'd want on the car at all. Not to mention I should have cleaner ports now ;

    He probably just didn't think of it. He had an issue with his PCV system, and he mentioned himself before that he wasn't going to bother upgrading it and just to ditch it. It's just an "eco-friendly" EPA bull$#@! system added onto the car. There's no reason to recycle that garbage through the motor.

    Not trying to be a jerk, but $100 seems pretty steep for a used DCI. GLWS though - excited to see more on your ST.

    Well, it's $110 new plus shipping, when I added to cart on BMW and added shipping it was about $134. I think $100 shipped is pretty good savings, but like I said, I'm open to offers.

    Still not sure why you are ditching the catch can. The best way to do it and how all big horse power cars and how we did on the stage 3 car was, go to to the can, then go out to a filter, this not only gives you proper venting, but the baffles in the catch can keep oil and most fumes from just blowing out the filter. On big boost motors you will always get some crankcase pressure, have the can is a good way to catch all that and easily drain it every month or so.

    Same here, even if the PCV is vented to atmosphere. It's doing the same thing with the OCC in place too. It's just getting filtered through the OCC then being vented to atmosphere. That's how my setup is.
