Video response to accusations stating the E9X is Gintani's only experience in FI

This video would never be allowed to be posted on BSpost due to politics. I felt Gintani was being treated unfairly and people were putting them down without having ever visited the shop or made a phone call. I decided to do something about it:

LMAOOOO! Love ittt! I'm not too involved in all the drama that is going on over there, but has anyone else besides Gintani posted a trap time? Any Individual customer reviews? Individual track reports?

That's not what I meant, I've seen that post. What I am saying is has anyone ELSE besides Gintani done all of that? I've only seen these things from Gintani and no one else...

My mistake! No, nobody else has, so you wonder why some people treat Gintani the way they do.

That's the point I'm trying to make... ESS has made and makes sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many claims for their S54 kits, yet we pretty much see NOTHING for proof about them

Lol i agree, now that have a strong supporter that is on all forums backing them very passionately. Every post by him is an ESS ad...

BTW Ive known Alex for a very long time, we went to school together. He would roll up with an E36 M3 and do donuts lol. Hes a good guy, and very passionate about cars.

ESS would rather post uncorrected dyno numbers... when asked to give a 60-130 or 1/4 mile time, they disappear. They use puffed up dyno charts which is lame... although they do make a nice product but I have yet to see results.

He doesn't need to watch it, he knows more about Gintani than Gintani does.

I assume your talking about GJGM3, in which I will tell you that I think that guy bought an FI kit for the sole purpose to be able to debate in the FI section.

It turns out I've also known Alex for a very long time, we used to street race every week back in the days and we were both one of the first in the Valley with e46 M's.

I just met Alex recently so I did not realize how far back his BMW affiliation goes.

Ya Alex loves BMW's, his older brother as well. They had the blue E36 M3 which is at the shop for a very long time now. That car was sick back in the day, his brother definitely knew how to mod cars then. When he started teaming up with RMS (along with a bunch of other friends i knew), i seriously didnt think that was a good idea, im glad he ventured into his own thing after.

Well, you have to start somewhere. I feel like he is embarrassed about it sometimes because of how people think of RMS so if he says anything regarding RMS that will reflect poorly on him. People are too quick to jump on things like that.

Ah, I didn't even realize the blue E36 was theirs, very powerful car.

It is, when you put it up against this:

My claim was accurate and you know it.

Gintani is an amateur in the world of BMW tuning. That's not a slight against Gintani, it's a fact when you compare their experience vs. the other big name FI tuners.

You seem to think that tuning a handful of one-off creations makes you a player in the rough and tumble world of BMW FI tuning.

I'll be sure to pass that on to Conforti the next time we chat.

I'm sure he'll get a good laugh out of it.

By the way, where are these E36 M3 and E46 M3 supercharger 'kits' that Gintani made Sticky? (since you are so intent in calling me a liar)

I've been around the block more than a few times, and I have never seen or heard of any of the cars you claim they built?

    Where are they exactly?

It must be a local socal thing.

Or maybe, one-off creations don't meet the minimum standard to be called a forced induction production kit perhaps? I think most people would call them individual "project cars".

You seem to think that a forced induction kit that is tuned separately for different cars, is somehow better than a mass produced kit.

How in the world could you ever accurately judge the quality of the tuning if every car is getting a different map?

    I'll answer that for you...you can't.

It's much harder to properly tune a FI kit outside of a small geographically limited area.

You have to consider low altitude vs, high altitude areas of the country, differences in regional fuel quality, and weather conditions that are far different that what you are accustomed to in Southern California.

How many Gintani kits are running outside of socal?

I'd bet that answer is ZERO.

And I also think it will remain that way for a while.

    Curious...

Do you have any idea how much it costs to produce 1 forced induction kit for a single application? (by the established mass-market FI tuners)

Do you have any idea of the lead time required to produce these kits? (and why it takes so long?)

Just trying to establish that you don't even know WHY it takes the other guys so long to build a viable FI kit.

You also seem to think you end up with a better FI product, simply because your car is tuned in a local shop. (instead of some 'faceless' worldwide corporation) How exactly did you come to that dubious conclusion?

I mean it's better (at least in your eyes), so tell us what makes it so much better than the rest?

    Another thing,

If you are so convinced that your decision to go with Gintani was so fundamentally sound, why haven't we seen or heard anything about your setup yet? Post up the dyno graphs.

The TRUTH is you can't. (it's not your decision to make)
I'm amazed at how you can know more about a shop than the people who are at it. Especially when you have never been there, or even called the place, or even bothered to listen what customers have said.
