    My N54 Top Mount Project

So I'm sure you all know I've been working on a kit. I didn't want to come out with any teasers or any bull$#@!. I come out with everything. The whole process took 5 weeks exactly, and it started right up today.

I don't like to mess around with my projects I got videos, pictures, logs... yea the whole shabang. Enjoy and ask all the questions you'd like.

    I put in 5 gallons e85 and 6 gallons 91 so I'd say somewhere around e50 blend.
Here is log 1 Map 4 wastegate spring pressure 12 psi.

Thats awesome! I like how there is no teaser, no build thread, no endless project. To me it takes the fun out of it when your car is down forever trying to build some crazy build.

The car looks quick and really fun. I'm happy for you, I know you had your headaches with the GTI, I think the 335 is a much better platform that will give you less headaches and more enjoyment.

Yes, we will be a vendor shortly on this site, a group buy will come into play after some more testing. Will have some more beta testers on the way as well.

Thanks boss, I really wasn't ready for the car to move out like that. I hopped into the other lane LOL. Those logs are with 3 other people in my car as well. When I took the vid nobody was in the car and that was nuts. Need LSD and new rubber.

Yea, I'm more than sure I'll probably want to boost something like that at the Shift S3ctor event in two weeks! Clutch is doing well but last night I got misfire cylinder 5/6 might be due to the DMFW vibration at high hp?

Very possible it is the DMFW. The older they get, the more noise they make.

You'll want to swap that DMFW for a SMFW. some say the steel FW doesn't chatter that much but I disagree. Any amount of chatter in my $55k car was unacceptable. I had an aluminum one and it sounded horrible. My buddy has a steel one and it still chatters. More than I'd find acceptable on a BMW.

Clutch wise though, the Spec Stage 3+ was a real solid piece. Prob the best among the choices available.

I’ve never ridden in a Steel spec SMFW car, but the alu flywheel is 120% unacceptable for any car that has pretentions of street driving. No passenger in their right mind would put up with that. Only thing more obnoxious I’ve felt was solid diff and motor mounts in a ‘03 Terminator I sat in once. At idle you could feel it jarring your teeth a bit, I’m not kidding.
