    Noise in 3rd gear

I just got done installing rebuilt turbos, new belt, tensioner, idlers, water pump, tstat and vac lines. Everything seemed to be great builds boost great no issues except in 3rd gear I am getting a very odd noise in the higher rpms. Under full throttle it does it and also half throttle + lift the throttle the noise happens. 2nd gear I can go wot and shift and part way into third the noise will start. I am going to put it up on ramps in the morning and take a look. Any input would be great. Here is a vid of the noise

I'd take a log to help diagnose what the engine is doing. Make sure you get throttle actual, boost, rpm, would be somewhat helpful to take a vid same time or at least watch your tach and zero in to what rpm range in the log stuff is happening.

Here is a log. I let off when I heard the noise under WOT. It continued after I lifted and put the clutch it.

I don't see any log attached. I'll check back again tonight late after I get back from work. It happened off throttle, clutch in? Are you sure it's not vehicle speed related, i.e. loose underbody panel, etc?

Sorry I forgot to put the link in there. It is not speed related. In the video it was when I let off the gas but WOT in 3rd sounds bad. It the same noise as in the video above. 1st and 2nd zero noise. 3rd starts around 4500-5000. I flashed back stock and no difference. Thank you for the help!

I'd certainly carefully check the drivetrain -- guibo and center driveshaft support bearing.

It is drivetrain for sure. I am just glad it is not turbo related. I accelerated to in 6th right about 70-75 the noise starts. It almost sounds like something rubbing a heatshield. The only thing I can think of it something got messed up lifting the front of the engine slightly to get the motor mount out.

Problem solved. I left the 2 splash shields off to make sure there were no leaks and the rear one was flapping at high speeds. It sure did make a ton of noise
