-don't floor the throttle at low revs and high gear

Guess I'll find out when I get my Vargas turbo installed.
Agreed with most of the above except one. You mentioned don't use piggybaack without accompanying flash. why is that?

I've seen it discussed a few places including here

Mines holding up strong with around 450 lb ft torque on the dyno. Only time I had slipping was related to a high load flash.

aah, makes a lot of sense... I have since swapped from a JB 4 G5 ( back end flash ) to a COBB protune alone and its way better in every sense...

I have fabricated a full alu oil pan to my n54 DCT. Have not tested on high load/tourqe as we still have to sort out different things and the engine is still in brake-in period.

I am sure, that after a specific torque/use of the car: full alu oil pan (maybe with increased oil capacity), modified internals and modified TCU are needed.

M5 has the same clutch than M3 or 335i or M6.

You must have had an older ROM that was never updated. BMW released numerous updates for the DCT.

Glad you got it fixed though....

So does this flash work with non M DCT's, such as in 335is cars (i'm not sure what cars you have flashed)?

And, can you get any other functions from the new flash, such as changing the set RPM for LC as can be done in the M3/5?

Yes, this flash for 335i/335is with DCT. This is original flash from bmw with GTRR SA option, so you can not change rpm limit and so on. This flash was developed for 335I DCT with PPK kit.

Great, thanks. I didn't realise that there were regular updates to the TCU software.

If you can cover 100KM in 7 seconds, you are faster than some jets.

So, logically speaking, you have had problems with your DCT. And your punctuation, capitalization and implied subjects also.
