This is about business and principle. Some of you just don't understand it from my perspective and that's fine. This is about more than a car.

Beat them at their own place. Not going out of principal means they will return the favor at your event and not come. And then its a standoff with them having the upper hand as its the benchmark time and place to compete

First thing let's see the trans get put together and holding high boost. That is step 1.

Sticky, I would think sweeter "revenge" would be to go to the event with bimmerboost plastered across the side of your car in the brightest colored vinyl, pown everyone, and have your rolling billboard in every video and result on the internet. I'm a business owner too and know for fact that would go a lot farther than thumbing your nose at the event and not going.

Are you running upgraded clutches or just replacing the stock?

IIRC, the event is sold out already and the only option is the waiting list. Unless you have some special connection, I don't see how you are getting in right now. But anyways, I'm sure this event will have many more Ms and AMGs. Would be the perfect place to see where you place.

If I already won and the car would come back with even more HP I would think as the defending champion the car should be considered the favorite.

You've been to 1 event.. lol. Just come out and have some fun. Your car will be ready, other cars will be running good again, new builds will be present, and the top AMG cars will be present too. No point in bragging if you haven't beaten the best of the best.

As I have previously mention, E30, E36 and E46 M3s have the records at the 1/4 and also 60-130. No records held by e9x anything. Show Up!!

What one event? I've been to who knows how many events. Your car hasn't won any even last I've checked?

I'm going to do whatever I want to do.

You're absolutely right, I have not won any events. Thats why I'm not trying to talk a bunch of mess about what my car may or may not do. I'm just trying to come out and have some fun. You should too.

Your car has been to 1 event while it was built. You didn't drive it though. Events have different winners all the time. Come out and do it again. But this time, against a full roster of powerful cars.

It may be fun for you and that's fine. Go out, have a good time. It isn't about fun for me.

We comparing cars, drivers, what? Is there some list of your criteria I need to meet to please you?

And what if some car isn't in attendance that is being built? What if the next event has an even more powerful car? It's never ending. There will always be a new this or new that.

I've already done it. My focus is on what is best for business. Period.

I'll be there.... but I didn't even notice damnit. It falls right on Passover. Now I have to bring matzah and my own food to the event. Damnit, I really wanted to pig out at in-n-out again the night before at the hotel LOL.
