yeah, I was running 34psi on the EVO with Tbolt clamps and couplers. Held perfectly. The only place on an N54 that couplers suck is the throttle body. I've seen TONS of couplers blow off, including every single pass I made one night at the strip. That's why I love the ER charge pipe. Reuses the stock C clip. What are you using for TB to FMIC piping?

1000+whp GTR's have no issues running the exact same clamps and couplers on their ETS kits, I don't suspect any issues myself. If for some reason I do I'll just take it back to the shop and have a solid CP built, but I really don't expect any isssues.
those gtr's should be using wiggin clamps! end of story lol

I don't know what type of clamps they are but they are very nice and extremely strong. The two pieces of chargepipe that connect FMIC to throttle body have decent sized lips on that that the clamps tighten down on, I'd definitely say it's a level above your average coupler setup, but I get what you're saying.

If it doesn't have wiggins clamps it's fail ! Lol love those wiggins clamps but $$$

still think you should have them make you a charge pipe while it's their like dan. Its not like it's going to cost much since you already have a BOV etc but w/e I'm interested in your build. Can't wait till I finally finish mine so we can all meet up

Getting fitment figured out with the new bumper. Will have a custom intake duct or piping, not sure exactly yet. Intercooler fitment isn't perfect with it so either modifying the bumper a bit or will see if intercooler can be moved a bit.

    it's really 4'' deep?

I wonder why the middle is covered with metal instead of fins.

For trans coolers I always use Haydens. Cheap and effective.

size isn't everything. its all about flow, cooling and no one can beat garret cores on that. biggest and best intercooler I've see, which is 2 garret core welded together (on the right and to the left is a RPI) i'll be buying one of these for myself in the next few weeks
