Easy killer, there will be more details once mine is done and when the shop decides to release more info. There is no set cost yet as we still don't know what all the upgrade will include, but it has been started, and both the input and intermediate shafts will be upgraded to billet ones. The shop is nizpro out of Australia (I'm not sure what it is with transmission shops and that continent...lol)

I do know a bit more of what will be upgraded, but until it's all done or nizro gives me the go ahead I will not release details on my own accord. Feel free to contact the shop yourself, I know they have already ordered additional parts when they ordered mine so that they are ready for further future upgrades. @07Tundra played a big part in making this happen. Moves are being made, and the hardware will have a significant increase, but we still won't see full potential of the trans until software is figured out, but this will be an OEM quality hardware upgrade, not just replacing existing disks with stronger material, so yes it will have significant increases power handling capabilities.

Haha, yeah, it's going to be a good upgrade, like I said, won't know the full potential of the upgrade without full access to the TCU, but from what is available will still be a huge help. I mean, if guys don't think the Alpina flash is help, then they really need to take another look. Also, I can tell you that lvl10's rebuild just isn't going to add that much power capabilities, there is only room for 1 extra plate in the grouping that effects 4th gear, which also effects 3rd and 5th, and that's where most of the issues are. I will say lvl10's torque converter is probably very good, but I've spoken with several different transmissions shops and they all agree on cars nowadays you should not be trying to manipulate the valvebody, and doing minimal clutch replacements like they do is only good for maybe a 16% increase in power capabilities.

So...that's pretty much what I have so far. I've tried and tried to get more info on the lvl10 build, including calling them, there seems to be a lack of info of what they actually do...probably because there is a lack of what they actually do to begin with. Is it improved? Sure, but from what I've learned, it's way over priced for what it is. I've heard many others say this but gave benefit of the doubt until I researched for myself further, and I pretty much agree with others' opinions.

If your trans is already working fine and no slipping, then the valvebody upgrade and TC upgrade are all I would look at, and that's only cause the valvebody seems to work for some, but on the other hand several veterans in the trans world (modern trans world) have advised that on newer cars like ours where everything is controlled by electronics, manipulating the valvebody hardware really won't do much, and may even be a complete waste of time. It's fine on older transmissions, and in fact is exactly what was done on older cars, but not now.

Only partially a joke. Planning on pickup Tuesday, so I figure by late Monday it should be done. We'll see. I actually didn't hear anything today about parts getting back from ceramic coating...so not sure
