Correct, just power wires, you're just replacing the stock solenoid, so the wiring is already in place, just need to make sure you load the software and you're all set.

Yes, this was the answer from Terry when I was asking, the firmware takes care of recognizing one solenoid from my understanding.

Views and traffic are up... so I don't know. Maybe there just isn't anything super exciting in the N54 scene right now? There's a big thing on the horizon but pretty much it's the same old stuff.

lol, plenty of exciting stuff going on, just everyone is busy working on their cars instead of posting updates I guess. Plus Terry's cars are both getting trans or motor build, not sure about PTF. I'll be posting my build thread hopefully soon, maybe a couple weeks, just waiting until it's almost completed.

I understand and I'm not focusing much on the N54 either right now as I'm trying to get every other forum section in place and update the interface.

I think the N54 guys need to understand that the motor is getting to a place now in its life that is a bit different. New platforms are coming along that will generate more interest even from BMW themselves such as the S55 and S63.

The N54 has been in a bit of limbo due to two major limitations. One is about to be alleviated and will be the major news on the platform which naturally this place will be at the forefront of as it always is. The other I have no control or information on but once I finish with wrapping up the network I'll see what I can do.

Not enough single turbo builds on the n54 IMHO. Running the usual fbo twins story is just stale these days.
