So, what is my option? I have a 2008 535i MT production date 09/07. I doubt it is the same as the 335i pumpkin.... or it is?

I'll need to do some cross referencing (or if anyone on here knows?).

I don't suppose you are able to get under your car and write down the number from the label stuck onto the pumpkin?

I used realoem.com website and cross reference the part number of 33107560883 and it is only showed for 5 series only. I guess I'm out of luck....?

I was quoted $1250.00 from undercover performance. I decided to get the parts and diy. Parts cost me $275.00 for the seals, AR diff wrench, bolts, fluid for trans and diff. Should be here by next week, I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Actually I misspoke - I am on the AT bandwagon. Sorry for the confusion. I am still looking into getting one after the positive reviews.

They never told me how many hours, seems as it was a flat rate they charge. I'm estimating about 6hrs in my driveway, should be fun. Click here to enlarge

LOL!! yea, I was completely against it at first until I did more research and it seems pretty straight forward. My only concern is making sure the backlash is correct. Otherwise I may be in for some down time since it's been tough to source different size c-clips.

It depends on the level of work. Changing diffs, transmissions, tuning, installing motors, definitely not.

no it would still help. The traction control will eliminate any 0 load situations.

All I want to do is a proper skid sideways and go to the drags on the occasion.

I'm worried about clunking noises when going from Reverse to 1st and vice versa.

Is this going to be a suitable LSD?

i assume you've researched how to set backlash w/ a dial indicator & how to read the mesh paste? if not, make sure you do to avoid gear whine.

nevermind, just saw my answer.Click here to enlarge

question for you guys, what would be a better option.
front and rear m3 arms and subframe bushings then wait a bit for LSD, or just get the LSD and wait for the arms and bushings?
didn't want to start a whole thread for just a basic question.

Personal preference but the major upgrade IMO is the LSD so LSD first for me.
