It didn't come with anything really. Just the core.
I ordered 2 quarts of 75W-90NS redline gear oil.
Loctite RTV 598 Black Silicone Gasket Maker (80 ml. Tube)
Threadlocker Stick - Loctite Blue Stick (9 g. Stick)
    2 Shaft Seal with Lock Ring - Differential Output Shaft (100 X 50 X 10 mm) PN 33-10-7-505-605
ar design N54 Differential Install Tool

To my understanding no one changes the bearings on our final drive and I couldn't find them for sale either.
I plan on reusing most of the other stuff as long as its still in good condition.
I'll determine if I need to change shims if I can't set the backlash to within spec.
This is for a 01/07 build bolted large carrier for a 335i. I think the automatics need an extra seal and the 135i diff uses different output shaft seals (smaller), I'm not certain though.

If anyone is interested in the process of installing the LSD in the final drive carrier, check out the link below. This is for a welded crown ring but it is otherwise the same.

Mfactory. Most of the 335i cars using either wavetrac/quaife were able to reuse the c-clip. Do you know if the test cars required different c-clips for the installation of the LSD in order to adjust the backlash? or the addition of shims? Generally, for most installations of the LSD, the backlash was within spec with reusing the original c clips. Thanks

You may or may not be able to re-use it; you can only determine whether or not you need to change and shim to set the backlash when you are actually installing the LSD.

The issue is due to the oem casing being cast, thus every casing has minute differences, which is the reason why you need to change shims etc.

Yes I understand, but on the test cars. How many test cars were used fit the LSD? Where the c-clips reused on those?

As our LSD measurements were based off an oem differential, the LSD was test fitted back into the same pumpkin that the sample differential came from, so nothing needed to be changed.

Several have contacted us about this, but due to non-payment, we still have this available Click here to enlarge

Just in! We have an almost new 135i/335i AT Bolted Small Diff Helical LSD sitting on the shelf just now. This was a return from a customer as he purchased the wrong fitment and only figured it out after bolting up the ring gear and it wouldn't fit correctly inside his pumpkin. It is basically brand new and unused.

Fitment - 135i/335i AT Bolted Small Diff
Condition - As-new, except some superficial surface rust marks (we've removed the rust, but there are still faint marks left behind) and markings where the ring gear bolts were torqued on. These markings will in no way affect the durability or functionality of the unit, but obviously we can't resell it as a brand new unit
    Fixed Price - $700 inc shipping to the US/Canada, first-come-first-served. That's a 30% saving off MSRP!
