I was talking to Alex about it for like an hour, the kit is nice and top notch. Definitely knows what he's doing and has a great choice of turbos. The car is making more power than a stage 2 SC setup, with only 7psi on wastegate spring. Full boost by like 2800 rpm with a FAT powerband. He said the low end power is nuts, not like a regular m3 would ever feel like. I won't say anymore, it's not my spot to lol.
So you actually saw this car run down the track? Nice.... Click here to enlarge It sounds sick

If a DCT upgrade existed that had proven itself to be reliable and a legitimate advantage over a 6MT (standalone EMS means you can tune in NLS), then maybe it'd be a viable option.

BUT as of right now there's no proven (short or long term) DCT upgrade, so realistically a 6MT is the only option unless you're into replacing DCTs after a couple Kill Mode pulls. I mean even the DCTs in the high power GTRs aren't known for being "long term reliable", and at ~$26k (Level 4 for 1,200 TQ -- Off ShepTrans website) it's far from being cost effective. Especially now that AMS has released the Alpha 16, which of course puts out over 1,200 WTQ Click here to enlarge While you've got options with the E9x M3, the GTR is DCT and checkbook required.

I'll never move unfortunately.. My family business is here and I'm inheriting it so I'm a little stuck. But I love jersey. Winters get long, but we have the beach, NYC/Philly/Balt/DC all within 2 hours. It's a fun place to live IMO.

Jersey's got plenty of money, and depending on the quality of pussy you're looking for that's everywhere. Plus I'll take 93 octane over the piss you call "91". But like I said, I'll take Texas or Florida over either. Similar year round weather, quality roads, and both have 93 + pro-2nd Amendment.

Why you running E85 if 93 is so great? 91, 93, they both are piss. Not that it matters as you can make more than enough power on 91 octane to deal with tiny little whp numbers.

The fact that you have an actual winter season and can't really drive you car already loses. The 91 to 93 difference is minimal and I can care less. Just like Sticky said, why not run 93 not e85? Plus, I can used e85 all year round without really worrying about my car starting lol.

Different strokes...I can deal with winter/cold, just hate the snow. I love the city too much to leave...that's why the winter home will be in the Caribbean.
