He's going to beat them because I said so.... And.... the fact that he's on a transmission that's on its last legs and has had the car for a month, how long did those times take to set? And there's more than a handful of cars out there that have those kits.

Sooner or later Terry will be issuing spankings to a vast majorities of the m3s That he races. Especially those with Gintani kits and built motor.

Point being stock internal M3's still have quicker times so saying things like destroying them or whatever is kind of dumb.

It's should be nice to see Terry run a ess 650 kit how he sits now, then tune for more boost and see the difference. The great thing about the n54 single turbo is the ability to add more boost via tune. Click here to enlarge

On the shifts it's hard to tell but I'm pretty sure it was 1 shift. It hits 5th right around 130mph. In the VBOX chart it looks like the shift is right before around ~127mph but I thought I heard the VBOX beep a split second before the 4->5 shift and the log doesn't show it really getting in to 5th for long. The slicks are around 1/2" taller so that should help give a bit more room.
Thats the record as far as I know. Even with you being 200#'s lighter going with the every 100# is worth 10hp so you have a 20hp advantage.

I was just going off prior knowledge that all 6at's have to shift twice doing 60-130 testing. That and like you mentioned it looks like the v box graph flattens out at ~97 on the 3-4 and again at 127 on the 4-5. Look forward to you retesting with the slicks!

You can add more boost to a 650 kit too.

It's a manually driven supercharger what do you expect? You can still add more boost though and people seem to forget turbos exist for the S65.

People on e90post are mostly running ESS kits. Let's just say custom tuning for higher boost is not their forte.

Terry can pull on 650kit with rb turbos from a roll, with the single turbo he should race the vt3-725

Terry has a built motor now and that turbo is barely getting into it's efficiency range. That turbo can be pushed 30+ psi easily. Once the tranny is figured out in that car its going to surprise a lot of people. I gaurantee that.

but only sort of LOL @Sticky im breaking balls.. but what @bigdnno98 said is correct... and a majority of the the 650 kits are 130mph+ cars and terry hasnt done that yet but the time hes had the car is also 1/50th of the time these guys had their cars and kits...

Are there any documented performance tests done with any turbo S65's? I'm curious as to what's out there right now. There is no name brand option yet though right? Besides the one that Gintani is working on?

I've raced lots of ESS cars with OEM and RB turbos. This one was the fastest one I've run and I was running around 520whp then. I've never run Drew though who has the fastest M3 around here Technically Sticky's car is probably faster but he rarely shows up to the events to race. Click here to enlarge

@Sticky usually bases him arguments on the top 2-4 fastest examples and leaves out the 1,382 others that are not as fast...

but from what I have seen a good running ess 650 car should easily beat a rb 335... the one by me out in long island was able to beat a fbo GTR from a roll... Ricky's... white / red leather trapped stupid high with terrible ET lol... think his motor ended up going to was about to and he got rid of it, but i could be mistaken

For reference. Here is Drew's VT3 vs that same SC M3. Drew now has even more power.
