bimmerboost flash over existing dinan flash

I know its been touched upon here and also with the cobb, but if my car has a dinan flash on it now, and all signs point to it being read protected, will I be able to back it up? I am running a stacked setup now which I know is less than ideal especially since ive been throwing e85 in the mix. Would like to try shivs e40 map but I am worried that I will not be able to back up my original software...or does read protected mean I just cant view the file? Any help appreciated, thanks in advance!

Won't be able to do a backup. But can force a write.

Hipefully this OTS map is decent and worth losing my current setup which actually runs pretty good. I just need something e85 friendly to tide me over until spring

Why did you get the Dinan flash anyway?

I recommend flashing back to stock first before flashing anything else aftermarket

The car came with the flash. At first I was like its better than nothing but when I got tired of it then I realized its more of an inconvenience than anything. I'm happy with it stacked w the jb+ but now that I wanna do downpipes and a higher e85 mix its time to move on. I'm really curious to maybe hit the dyno first though cause it seems surprisingly strong
