    2014 C7 Corvette vs. 2014 Shelby GT500 from a dig

Just a couple good ol' boys having some fun. Corvette is an auto and comes out of the hole pretty good, at least a lot better than the Shelby which is a 6 speed. But once the Shelby gets going and stretches those long legs...

Damn the Corvette launches well. Wow.

Ugh videos like this make it hard to argue against the auto.

That launch by the Corvette was nice. I believe the Shelby had to probably peddle through the first and second gears if the traction control was off. I love the Shelby's but I cannot justify spending 70k on a Mustang....

Starts at $55k. The pricing is pretty similar between the two.

Same here although I love the GT500. The Vette is just much more of a sports car.

X2 you know you're gonna spend money on either one aftermarket, and the Corvette is a much better starting point, and just a better car overall to start with. Man...base corvette staying that close to a shelby in a straight line? Awesome

Shelby mph that vette but would have been nice to see a rematch with a better launch from the shelby
