That's how it always is. I'm amazed at the knowledge on platforms other than the topic at other forums. I can't tell you how often I'll be reading svtperformance, corvetteforum, supraforums, or mbworld (I'm sure I'm leaving a few out) and just see people say $#@! that is so stupid regarding a BMW it is beyond belief.

The knowledge level about other cars is just very, very low. I think we do a fairly good job here.

Also, some guy links to e90post there. If you really want to know what is going on, link here. Sorry, pet peve, but I don't feel e90post is an accurate representation of n54 tuning knowledge. Even N54tech would be at least better.

I recently contacted my sales rep concerning a major turbo upgrade.
I'm going for the new 5 turbo package.
    over 20,000 kilowatts!

all I need now is a solid plutonium connection

really cool! Actually I remember once seeing a forum where people were warning against racing a X35i s because some got smoked thinking the car was stock or something...

and it's nice to see how we are perceived especially with the comment saying BMW guys are willing to cough up $3000 for products that arent proven. Depends on the person really!

having a bmw has really put a new perspective on how cheap performance parts are for other cars lol... my mazda for instance cp-e 3" catback was 550 or something like that lol and the turbo back was going for 1100 i think..
