Yeah, ecoboost has its fair share of issues, not to mention Chevy coming out with n/a engines that out perform for less money. If ecoboost is on the list then why not n54? Lambo 5.2 v10, Mazda rotary, and Nissan r38 should have all been on the list instead of the AMC, tfsi, and Alfa romeo v6

a top 10 list without a 4G63 on it is pure garbage. Plus the v6 series 2 3800? who gives a $#@! about that motor? I don't know how the ecoboost made the list already? they're still ironing out issues on that motor. reasoning would say if they motor makes it why wouldn't an N54? N54 has made more HP on the stock motor and is about as reliable as an ecoboost LOL. What a joke.

Seems like they tried to get at least 2 performance engines from each part of the world (Euro/JDM/Domestic) and then some iffy "crap" like the AMC 4.0 and Alfa Romeo (best sounding V6?)... Here's my 10, not in any order:

    1. BMW S54 (E46 M3)
    2. Porsche GT3 (991 DI Motor) -- Combination of Technology & Reliability (9k RPMs in a Production Car)
    3. Toyota 2JZ-GTE (Supra)
    4. Chevrolet LS Platform (Various)
    5. Buggatti 16.4L W16/Quad Turbo (Veyron) -- Tower of Power
    6. Audi R108 TDI -- Diesel in a LeMans car??
    7. Torn Between the Zonda V12 AMG Motors / Carrera GT V10 / Murceilago 6.5L V12 / Ferrari F140 V12 (Enzo) -- All Are N/A, Tons of Revs, Make Glorious Sounds & Tons of Power
    8. Honda K20 or F20 (S2K)
    9. Cummins B Series Diesel Motors -- Powering Freedom in everything from a Dodge Ram, Commercial & Military Vehicles
    10. Lexus 1UZ-FE 4L V8 -- Had Trouble Picking Personal Favorites vs. motors that made landmark developments, so I Google'd for suggestions. Got this:
The 4L V-8 embodied every notable technical advance in the book, including aluminum block-and-head construction, dual overhead camshafts and four-valve combustion chambers; champagne glasses piled high on the LS 400's hood never dripped as this engine accelerated with electric-motor smoothness to a lofty redline.
