This is definitely on my list. I wonder about cams, someone should make cams with a larger fuel lobe. More time for the injectors to spray along with revving higher.

Yea, I thought you told me that before. Can't wait to see your monster turbo on the car already. Mine is sitting in my closet waiting to be put on.

We don't have a fuel lobe. Get your mind out of the VAG/Cobalt gutter!

Good stuff. I also worked with Ferrea to get my exhaust valves made. Their quality is impeccable.

    Very nice.

as far as valvetrain springs and valves etc i think its just ferrera and maybe BC and as far as cams i think its cat cams and brian crower both to be " coming out with something"

honestly without cams theres no point in these springs really theres no point in any of it until a viable fuel solution comes out

This is all true but these also are an improvement on the factory pieces. For those on the roadcourse who may stay at extended higher revs these parts already serve a purpose.

Hey man. Are you interested in the ported head as well? If so, $3999 + core for CNC ported head and all Ferrea valvetrain bits pictured.

What are the valves? +1mm? I'm trying to figure out what a complete package will/is going to cost me. What all do you guys do for the porting. Any chance at seeing flow bench for your fully ported heads compared to stock? That is a lot of money for a port job, which is fine, but I don't know anyone that has it done or what type of performance enhancement to expect. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. We can continue conversation outside of the forum if you like, but I'm sure more are interested.

Stock size valves and .5 oversize are available. Same price.

I think the price is competitive. Who else is offering this complete package? Do they have over 1000 BMW heads delivered to clients worldwide? Do they have all equipment and technicians in house with normal business hours? Do they use a $250k Centroid machine?

In January we delivered 11 BMW heads to customers. Hell, Titan and Powerhouse get $5k for their JZ head and people pay it happily.

Not many folks running around with head work...Think it's DZ and Enrita but not sure exactly what they had done to theirs.

On paper should be plenty of room for improvement. N54 heads don't flow very well (intentionally) so that could be a pretty sweet move for ST guys.

why .5mm oversized instead of 1mm?

Would rather go the 1mm personally :/

what pricing for the components separately?

i think 4k for the full package is a great price, considering it's a solid $1500 or so in valvetrain bits.

but as someone who will be getting valves elsewhere, and will be getting head work done locally...

would the retainers work with stock/stock style valves?

what about the springs, price/specs on them? how much better than stock?

ED: regardless of your wealth of experience, have you seen any results from your N54 program you can share?.. as said above, publicly stated, there's really only 2 people with headwork and results that we know of :/

Easy man, not trying to offend you with price, if $4k is whole package with valves, springs, etc. then yeah, I think that's pretty good. As mentioned above, it would be nice to see some results first though before pulling the trigger on something like this. This may end up being an all important upgrade on our motors if we get to the point where higher revs are not much of an option, we'll need all the help we can.

No worries, thanks, don't mean to sound rude

but given the caliber of head machine shops over here, it would take a lot of convincing for me to get a VAC head (for N54) with all associated headaches, without results lol.
