Is this primarily cosmetic or does it save weight since you had no sunroof to begin with?

Ya, since I didn't have a sunroof to start with, I only saved like 10lbs max. I did it mostly for cosmetics

I like how you basically have the center carbon from the front back.

I think I am going to do the same, carbon hood, and carbon trunk to tie it to the roof.

That's the look I was going for, a black CF strip from front to back. I'm pretty over my hood, lookign to get another one soon, but I don't like having a mod that EVERYONE has, so I don't know if I really have much of a choice on the hood.

Very cool Mike. Besides the glue, any type of weather sealing need to prevent leaks? Or does the glue do all that?

It only leaks a little bit from the corners, no big deal, you just got to put a couple little cups to catch the water when it rains :laughing-rollingre:

Nah, the glue is all that's needed. It's a very special glue from Wurth.

I didn't know you had a CF roof. I like it! Was it hard getting everything settled even or did the clamps pretty much take care of that for you?

Very nice. I myself went the cheap route and will be wrapping my roof with carbon fiber vinyl. I know it's faking the funk but hpf killed my bank account. They'll be killing again soon. For 2.5 upgrade like your beast or maybe even 3. Me and David were joking the other day. You took the crown from me with most parts messed up. Ask him about Marios car he'll tell yea.

Thats one mean looking M. The roof install almost seems really easy from you post! Did you also install the extra roof bow?

Looks legit and fairly doable as a DIY. The cost of labor was the drawback for me considering it would also be a cosmetic thing, although I have a sunroof. Car is coming together quite nice. More power and less weigh, I think your on to something!

Edit: Just caught the video of you and Chris taking that first ride. Play poker much? Funny how you couldn't hold back that grin once that BOV went off. Nice! I need me one of those, it adds a degree of terror to already feared machine. Enjoy!

How much weight do you save if you have a moonroof to begin with?
