    Claimed 1000hp RG Motorsport S65 Charged 4.4L

A tuner local to me has just completed this build. Target is 1000hp. The motor is a stroker at 4.4L. I do not know much about the car including the transmission used etc. and its still in the run in phase.
Does anyone recognize the size of the charger?

    Looks like a Vortech blower.

I believe the power numbers as it's capable of that but need to see a dyno.

I thought PG already proved the stroker/sc'd set-up doesn't work?

He proved he can't make it work. Stroker and SC can and has been done by several people.

Think he was running a 4.6L, non-sleeved setup.... Also not sure what the compression was, plus it was ESS' first setup to tune

Looks like a YSI (just Google Images search), but that's a real out there manifold design...

First of all the coupe looks a billion times better. And that's a conservative estimate.

I refuse to accept any of this sedan nonsense.

I'm honestly surprised how many people like the sedan but different strokes for different folks.

My opinion is the correct one. So I say.

Back in 2001 I bought parts / kit from Rob Green Motorsport. RG Motorsport South Africa.

Almost all of the parts failed.

Supercharger was a vortech with cog belt.

The moment we downshifted any gear, cog belt got into pieces and we had to call the tow truck.

They sent me several new v belts, no good news.

They told us to check alignment, we did but no good news.

At the end of the day I removed their supercharger.

Intake manifold blew, it had no reinforcement.

Before I purchased they sent me shiny photos, but the actual product (supercharger) did not work.

I would not touch any of their products but go with a proven kit such as that of AA / ESS....

Feedback like this is always good, but that is 13 years ago, that is a long time to get product development right and bring some good products to the table. I guess time will tell.

this is honestly what i'd do with a E90. Build it right, do the sleeves add the stroker kit port and polish the heads and then slap on a good SC and get the holy hell tuned out of it!

I love the sedan but couldn't find a dct low mileage one that was relatively close to me. I settled for the coupeClick here to enlarge honestly I think both look amazing but a well done sedan does stand out and is rare.

That manifold looks like it's still in development, cool looking but seems unfinished.

    looks badass for sure.

    and BTW

    Sedan> coupe b/c

sedan only made from 08-11 (07 if you live in EU)
    coupe made 08-13

coupe looks like every other 3 series, whereas the sedan m3 is the only e9x sedan that has the coupe front end (lights) on the 4 door chassis. Reg 3 series have different headlamps. Very unique to the sedan

Also sedan cars are very rare at under 10k produced worldwide.

I don't get why people fail to realize that these cars may be worth some bucks or at least hold a very strong value due to limited numbers.

Look at the M coupe cars, only 2,xxx ever made

We'll see. 10-15 years from now, I see a solid price fetched for a stripped out sedan w/ no options

Steve showed me this car when it was being built. It has a sleeved block. 10:1 Mahle pistons. Arrow rods, ARP rod bolts. Has upgraded fuel system with 2 M6 fuel pumps in line & bigger fuel lines & the whole trip. I think he said they plan on running like 16-19psi. Its not the V3 Si if I remember correctly. It's the T-trim.
