    the cluster does not need to be replaced... a simple recode of the ecu will tell the cluster its a manual and it will be fine
    yeah my ECU+cluster were from a 6AT car, so having to do what you're doing software wise at least lol

    Just checked, same parts for the cluster....
    And yes you can just recode the car with an VO update... that will do...
    Cool project...
    By the way I had the same situation and my calculation was to just renew internals every 100k km... that was for me the cheapest and borring solution... parts and labour was about €2.5k in The Netherlands... Upgraded parts will do a minimum... but I'm sure you will not only make yourself happy but many others that are considering this route...
