Lol...typical Patriots fan. Yeah, Polian, his son and HC Jim Caldwell all got together to create this brilliant plan. I can see it now..."Hey Jim, wassup Bill? I have this awesome plan...lets suck really bad this year so the Colts can draft Andrew Luck with the first pick next year. Uh Bill, won't that get us fired? And how are we going to convince our roster of world class athletes to lose on purpose? NFL athletes are the most competitive people in the world! Yeah Jim, I know but you, me, my son....we are all millionaires who don't need the money. It will be worth it if we set Jim Irsay and the city of Indianapolis up with the chance to win for next 15 years. Uh Bill....but we won't be a part of it all...and what if we do convince the players to suck, what happens to them? Jim...doesn't matter...they will find jobs on other teams."

And the rest is history...including a Colts win this weekend in Foxboro! Thanks again Polian!

I really just posted that as a joke. I know that never happened, still funny people believe it.

Luck is going to be an amazing QB.

I can't wait for the games this weekend. I think it is in Pats favor, not saying it will be an easy game it will not, but the colts are like what 25th in defending the run. We are running the ball well, if we can establish the run early, it's play action all day long and Brady is one of the best at it.

I really want to see Brady vs. Peyton again against each other. Regular season and playoffs are in Brady's favor but it is HUGE when they play whenever whereever.

How does this change anything regarding offense, defense, and special teams all being part of the team? I love how you just dismiss them and put everything on the QB. As if the QB catches the ball himself too.

These are all parts of a whole. The QB is an important cog.

How are you having trouble separating a QB's statistics from wins, losses, and superbowl victories? You aren't able to rate the QB individually? I am yet I also understand the QB is not solely responsible for wins or losses. Your argument holds no water and neither do any of your points.

Terry Bradshaw is 4-0 in Superbowls. Tom Brady will never, ever match his superbowl win percentage. That must mean Tom Brady is inferior by your thinking.

I think its telling how Torgas earlier in the thread states that he hates Peyton more than Eli. If Brady is so much better than Peyton, why hate him over Eli? Based on the Torga criteria Eli should be the most hated qb ever for patriots fans yet it remains Peyton. Could it be that Peyton is the one man standing in Brady's way of being the best qb in this era? Probably.

Percy Harvin cleared to play. Big pick up for seahawks if he is 100%.

I was wondering about him. I think Seattle has this game in the bag either way.

Eli beat Brady twice in superbowls. Eli has never lost to Brady in a superbowl.

Clearly Eli is the best ever because he beat Brady head to head. Twice. He may even be twice as good.

Since we have established that Peyton Manning is the best....lets get back to our picks. I wiffed last week so I am picking.....Colts, Broncos, Seattle, SF. If the Colts win, I will be rooting for the Chargers. I want a home AFCCG so I can go. Click here to enlarge But, nothing would be better than beating the Broncos in Denver...I think that is what the NFL is rooting for, a Peyton Manning vs Andrew Luck showdown!!!!!

What happened is what I expected to happen. Patriots defend home, Seattle takes down the Saints.

Ok, so now Denver should run over San Diego as San Diego winning twice in Denver would just blow my mind. I just am not buying into Cam or Carolina so Seatle versus the Niners for the crown.

Should come down to Brady versus Manning for the AFC which is how the football gods want it.

    Yeah no.
You are 100% correct. Brady looked awesome getting all those interceptions.

When he ran those 3 TD's in I just about came.

    He's amazing. He does everything.

Luck wasn't so lucky. He will be a hall a fame QB if he can stop throwing picks.

Can't wait to see Peyton vs. Manning. Pats aren't equipped with a healthy offense and stat wise Denver is better. Too bad both teams are not 100% healthy it would be like a superbowl. But then again Peyton sat with a thumb up his ass when Brady came back to score 28 unanswered points to beat him this year, so who knows.

What do I care if Luck is or isn't a hall of fame QB? Was Brady catching those picks or something? He's on defense now?

    These are fun:

Q: What is the difference between a person from Boston and a baby?
A: The baby will stop whining after awhile.

Q: What is the difference between a bucket of sh*t and people from Boston?
    A: The bucket.

    Q. Why do ducks fly over Boston upside down?
    A. There's nothing worth craping on!

Q: Why do people from Boston keep their driver's license on their dashboards?
A: So they can park in handicap spaces.

Q: What are the only two seasons in Boston?
    A: Winter and Construction.

If San Diego wins we might as well just let the Patriots go straight to the superbowl.
