    @www.cp-e.com

    The N54 community will like to see 1/4 miles times and dynos numbers . Its easy to get dyno numbers but very hard for some reason to get 1/4 miles times and this is what matters the most. I hope the cP-e team will do both when time comes for the official launch

    on the n54 it's hard to get quarter mile times that are indicative to what the turbo kit can do. A car would require a lot of suspension work and a really good driver (if it's a manual transmission for the launch) to get a decent time. As we all know BMWs are not Mustangs, Camaros or Corvettes, they are not designed for drag racing. Sure the trap speed may shed some light onto what a 700+whp Twin Turbo kit can do in these cars, but I'd much rather see 60-130 times.

    Since when are Corvettes designed for drag racing? They are good at it because they are powerful and light.

    Trap speed will show power regardless. They don't need to do some absurd launch with a drag suspension.

    my quoted post referenced time, not trap being what matters most. you're not going to get a good time out of a 700whp+ 335 without some absurd launch with drag suspension.

    The 300+mm tire capability might have something to do with it.... they aren't much lighter than a 335i.

    A C6 Z06 is 3200 pounds. It's significantly lighter and yes more rubber doesn't hurt but it isn't designed for drag racing.

    My post is stating trap speed is the most important determination of power and not ET.

    The elapsed time really isn't as important as people make it out to be.

    yep. we're in agreement.

    though i'd be interested to see in the difference in 60-130 between one of these, a single, and RB.
