Driveshaft upgrade? Any specs on our OEM 335i driveshaft?

    Hey guys,

I have some concerns over the OEM driveshaft.

    1) Is it a 1-piece or 2-Piece? Surprisingly difficult to find any info on it via google search, and I never paid attention to it last couple times car was on a lift.

    2) Any idea what kind of power/torque handling capability it has?

Not sure how soon it will happen as fueling is obviously still being sorted out, but I have no doubts I will be seeing 800+ whp as soon as fueling upgrades are brought to market to support it, and hopefully beyond that.

It's a 2 piece. I thought @dzenno@PTF was having a shop do a single piece carbon fiber shaft.

Talk to Frank at Drive Shaft Shop. I talked to him a couple months ago and it sounded like he was pretty close having the design completed. They are working on it for sure.
