Any interest in a custom Turbo kit made for the e92 m3 platform? Looking for e92 m3 owners interested for something different?

concept will be a stage one set up on stock dme tuned without the need of built trans/extensive engine upgrades.
rough numbers will be 600-700 hp range conservatively.

also will be a stage 2 which would entail stand alone and upgraded internals/extensive mods to make over 800rwhp

just trying to spark general interest as this has not be attempted before and would be willing to make this a project car that the 1st owner will get discount on everything we do then produce it as a kit for subsequent clients!

    thanks

Its not horsepower, its torque that kills. Turbo's make much more torque than SC.

Probably, but I do not want down time and the m3 as-is is a perfect no hassle car. the TT car would be the project and going for big numbers

Supercars stock aren't very reliable, I'm sure a tt kit makes them even less reliable, but people don't talk about that on forums, they only show dynos, roll races etc. No one talks about all the $$ it takes to keep the tt lambos running

The Gallardo isn't a supercar and it's quite reliable. The M3 tuned on a stock DME for turbos is going to be much more temperamental at this early stage considering turbo Gallardos have been done to death.

Really cannot comment on the reliability of a TT m3, mainly since there are maybe 1-3 up and running?

Sorry, but The Gallardo is a not a Super Car? It is without a Question, Especially 08's +. It has looks, name, and performance to back it up. A 200 mph car that runs low 11s, in the mid to high 120's 1/4 mile. And as for TT versions well we all know what they can do..... What its not is a Hyper Car.....

I don't subscribe to the term hyper car or devaluing what supercar means. A 918 spyder is a supercar. A gallardo is a sports car.

t.t is the concept...just need a customer willing to push thru with budget and desire to do a 1 off then potentially go forward and produce it as a built kit.

it will be labor intensive and def worth it in the end to have a us based shop/location able to produce this kit with proper tuning.
(we will be doing it of course via pro efi as we don't have a computer engineer-physical software designer in house)

and 800 as stated would be the more conservative side considering im sure with the way garth and our guys will have it built and tuned 1k will not be unreasonable but thing is getting built trans and supportive suspension components for the 100% complete pkg is going to be where there is potential issues.

sticky question what is your car dynoed at hp/ftlbs wise?

We haven't been able to get a clean pull yet but we hit 773 to the wheels so far on 18.5 psi. Should be good for 8XX at wheel with that pulley with something close to 600 wheel torque.

We'll see what it does when we crank it up. Turbos would be good for 1200+ whp though.
