Alpina B7 N63 motor specifications - larger 44 mm turbos and Mahle pistons

I was sent this PDF by Manny Antunes who is the senior client advisor at JMK BMW (M5manny on twitter: www.twitter.com/m5manny). When looking over the Alpina B7 earlier I did not notice a mention of larger turbos. It seems that Alpina uses 44 mm turbos as well as Mahle pistons in their application so they open up the motor. The car also runs 2.0 bar of boost.

Now, I am wondering how much more there is to be gained by aftermarket tuning on top of what Alpina does. On the stock N63 turbos, whose size I do not know, gains pushing the total hp to 500 are seen. Does this mean with larger turbos running the Alpina B7 has more headroom for tuning? Almost certainly. How much more? This is anyone's guess as I doubt we are going to see an owner tune one any time soon.

The intercooler is also listed as having 40% more volume. Check out the pdf with specifications below:

I honestly don't think it is 30 psi. I know it says 2.0 bar but I think that may refer to the max capability of the turbos.

Yep, I just did a search and it seems the stock boost is 1.0 bar. That means the turbos can go up another bar if I understand this correctly.
