I've heard of them used on other cars - they are very expensive. A lot of highly tuned cars use them - other than this don't know much about them.

I am more than sure someone else on this forum has though. <g>

A few people have them... I put it in the same category as the NGK plugs, if you're heavily modded (RB/VTT Turbos, Single Turbos, etc), they're def more appropriate then the OEM spec parts.

Have to remember, a lot of us are pushing an additional ~150 WHP and still utilizing the OEM ignition components

One step colder on plugs I can get for guys north of say 450 wheel…but I just couldn’t bring myself to spend $1,000 on ignition coils. Some run them for sure though.

They're good quality but unnecessary. The N54 really likes the factory ignition components.

1k + for coils. There are over 1000 other things I can do with that money to aid my car probably better than that lol. Some new spark plugs, oem coils, valve cleaning, meth install, etc... That's the last thing I'd do when and If I'd need it. Is @Terry@BMS running these or is Vargas running these?

I have them. Since putting them on never changed a single coil. Power wise I'd say stock coils do fine but are probably susceptible to more frequent failure given how often oem coils typically go. I didn't notice any fuel consumption improvements with them but I don't drive on a stock tune or OEM plugs.

At that price, I would expect them to hold for a lifetime LOL
