    E60 M5 ||First Datalog IAT, IGN || Datazap.me graphs

Had some free time this morning, even though my car is running 100% ( knock on
wood) For fun I wanted to datalog using the BT cable and use datazap.me to
upload the CSV into the charts below..

    2009 M5, mods listed in
    signature.
    36K miles
Spark Plugs, tranny fluid/filter, diff oil all
    changed recently.
    93 octane
    53F ambient temps

    Traction off, M mode
on.. Wasn't able to get to 8K RPM. road too bumpy.
    Was a really bumpy road,
as you can see from the RPM dipping.. But this was just a trial run. BT software
wouldn't let me log more then 3 parameters, and was really acting up with its
values, but this was the best I could get.

Runs start at the end of the
second valley. DAMN BT cable! Was trying to log throttle, so it gives everyone
an idea of where I am WOT at, but BT software wouldn't work.

    RPM and
IATs... Car was running for about 10 mins parked, and parked 10 mins before
that, so a lil heatsoak settled.
IAT's start at around: 97F, and at the end
of the run:71F.. Nice drop in IAT during the run! Gotta love NA!

    RPM
and IGN.. Again the road was HORRIBLE! bouncy and the wasn't able to get a clean
log, but for the most part I was hitting the IGN targets of 30-32 at specific
RPMS, so car is running healthy. BT cable logging software for me is acting up
aswell. Might have had 1 timing drop at around 3K, as you can see the sharp dip
in IGN. Wish the BT software was better for logging.

    Gonna
find another road this week, and try to fix up the BT software logging, play
with it some more and try to get a clean run in..

Another one with IGN, RPMS, and Throttle (100 WOT)

Same, last log as above, I was unable to edit**
Found another log from my run back.
Looking at the RPM's you can see the road was still bumpy as hell.
@ around 5,200rpm I was hitting 31 for ignition which I think is right around where the stock ignition targets are for, so my car is def able to hit those high ignition targets, but tapers off after and unable to recover to 30+ I think where they should be, I think this might have to
do with the high IAT from sitting and or the bumpy road skewing the results.
Cant tell until I find a new smooth road to test out some high RPM datalogs.

So odd to see a non-meth data log where temp at the throttle body falls below ambient. I’ve been too lost in forced induction world.
