    You definitely did. Your runners are nice size, and the way it is looks like it will have good flow and velocity. Another good thing is the wastegate priority is very good too.

    Why the long intake pipe on your turbo? Try a mushroom HKS style like the Supras.
    Why? Because foam mushroom filters let all the crap in.

    The idea was to place the filter on the cooler side of the engine. However, I also have a turbo mount K&N filter as well. I actually run that most of the time and with the meth, my IAT's are pretty low anyway.

    has anyone worked out what's roughly the largest turbo that would be able to fit in a top mount for the N54?

    would you be able to fit in say a GT40/42/7675/S400?

    i wonder if the dimensions are available online for a measure up?
    Theres enough room for those turbos, but it would be a really tight fit. I had a couple of S475s and the compressor housings were massive.

    would you have to cut much to keep it under the hood?

    i'm assuming there wouldn't be much in the way of room for a filter of appropriate size with the turbo that close to the headlight?

    have to create a large sealed box or something?

    is bottom mount turbo better to prevent heat problem?
