    335d turbocharger specs?

    Does anyone know the specifications of the small and large turbos on the 335d? I'm looking for the compressor and turbine wheel diameters and shaft diameters, as well as the A/R of the turbine housings. Also, are these journal or ball bearing units?

    The large turbo seems similar in size to a turbo with a 58mm-60mm compressor wheel. Does anyone know the brand? I thought they were Borg Warner, but I'm not sure.

    I just found a reference to the turbo as being a k26-2871. If that's anything like a Garrett GT2871, it has a 53.1mm inducer (71mm exducer) compressor wheel. Not nearly as big as I had hoped. The 335d engine doesn't rev very high, so maybe it's sufficient for all but the extreme cases.

    The K26 comes in ball bearing and non-ball bearing configurations and has been used a lot of cars apparently. Wish we could definitively know the specs as used in the 335d.

    I'm pretty sure the 335d uses a twin turbo sequential setup with two different sized turbos. This is unlike the twin setup in the n54 which uses two parallel turbos of the same size.

    if you search high and low you can find the specs from borg warner on the turbos. Borg warner K26 and KP39.

    There is info on the k26 at this link, not sure if it will get you everything you need or not turbodaves.com/uploads/BWTS_2013.pdf

    Seems like there are several options in Europe, but none in North America. Makes sense, I bet the US has about 1% of the number of diesels that Europe has.

    No magic here. They are Borg / KKK K26 for the bigger turbo. It can easily be upgraded, highly doubt it is BB. Would like to take a look at one. The US market is small, but I assume the Euro market would be pretty large.

    I believe that it is €1500 + core. The upgrade wheels compressor come from a US manufacturer company...

    US market need to get into the european diesel world. I got a 162.5% hp increase over stock with just exhaust, ic, hybrid turbos and tune. All the rest remain stock and even at my stage, the stock fuel system has more room for more boost.
    My results was achieved on a MAHA LPS 3000 and higher gear. On a dynojet the number would be alot higher. I'm runing this stage for about one year, 15000 miles and several top speed runs +190mph...

    So their hybrid turbos are just a stage 1 style with a bigger compressor or they just throw a billet compressor in the same size as stock?
