    Update:

    procured the E92 entire front suspension/subframe/N54/6 speed/wiring harness/DME/CAS/key/instrument cluster/body harness/JB/JBE/other electrical fun stuff.

Up next will be making a wiring harness that the instrument cluster/CAS/key accepter/Key/JB/JBE/DME that can talk on the toolbox to my ISTA. When that happens, it should be as simple as connecting the engine wiring harness (to the JB4 Click here to enlarge)) to the DME.....

I mean, im sure we'll be running into some snags but this should be neat Click here to enlarge

Still looking for an E9x M3 rear subframe.

Found a line on a Group 5 widebody kit.
Debating on making every panel fiberglass....so the only thing that would be steel is the shell Click here to enlarge

    Fiberglass doors weigh 8lbs...
    hood- 12...
    trunk- 6.....

Glad you like it. You'll need a sense of humor to finish that part.

welp, we took it out- spread it out- identified the connectors and bus systems we needed, verified a game plan and stuffed it back in the box.

We think the best way to tackle this, is to do the major mechanical- mount the subframe, build the cage, mount the seats, make it steer and roll around.

Then mount the modules where they need to be.
Then build a wiring harness on paper, and identify the power/ground/bus requirements of each module.
Then build a "bare bones" a wiring harness to them....
Then steal the connectors of the factory harness and re-pin them with the wires we need.
THEN, take it out, loom it and reinstall.
Then start it Click here to enlarge

So it may be a long road, but I'm determined and stubborn lol
also, still working on this group 5 nonsense.

In the mean time, i have to swap an entire opal GT from one shell to another :barf:
literally. I have a painted shell on a rotesary - and another one that drove in with a wasted body....so that comes first lol

I know. I already did N55 and 6HP21 swap into E36 chassis, it is fully functional. I am finishing the cosmetics now.

Well, the turbo M3 is gone= so I better start working on this thing. I'll be doing a somewhat detour with it.

Since it has all the things needed to run and drive, it just needs to be tuned with the current M10/megasquirt/turbo I'm going to leave that in there for the time being.

I'll be building the cage/seats/dash and start farting around with it on the street. When I figure out a game plan for the rear suspension (either E90 M3 subframe, or when I find a 335xi drivetrain) I'll graft that in.... then do the front.

So in the mean time, ill just let my N54/6 speed/subframe hang out until I need it Click here to enlarge
