    Looks like there is also some talk of Evolve creating a non-intercooled kit. Might be a good option for peeps in cooler climate regions. Add a W/M kit and your set for extended pulls.

    Agreed. I'd take a well designed A/A intercooler over a heat exchanger set up any day.

    Anyone have any recommendations on what RPM limit I should raise it up in the tune? Like I've said before, I will be NA with test pipes for the next year. Is there a RPM where the risk doesn't justify the HP gains?

    Don't go past 8800. If you want to keep it safe just stay at 8500. It's not the RPM that is likely to kill you as much as hitting the limiter hard and hurting a valve spring.

    Hey everyone,

    I received the EvolveR tuning cable kit for my M3 today.

    After I click the next button during step 3 the following happens:

    A small box appears and reads "Unable to find USB device".

    I made sure to check the box during installation that included the driver updating(I also ensured the device was plugged in while installing the SW). Tried checking the device driver and it shows that there is no driver for the device. It also won't allow me to trouble shoot the USB driver error as windows couldn't find a driver for it.

    Is there something else I doing something wrong? My PC meets/exceeds all the system requirements.

    Pretty frustrated right now. Sent RKAutowerks an email but haven't heard anything back yet.

    Looks like there is no USB driver for Window 8.

    Sent Evolve my factory DME file last night. Received the tuned Stage 1 file early this morning. AWESOME turn around time!!!

    Tune adjustments I had done were the following:
    - 240E DME software
    - 8500 rev limit
    - Rear o2's turned off
    - Top speed removed
    - Cold start disabled

    Loaded up the 240E DME file and the Stage 1 Evolve tune right after( Sal confirmed I originally had 231E).

    Pretty easy and smooth proccess from start to finish. The software interface is dummy proof and was step by step the entire way.

    My car is driving smooth as ever and seems a little peppier also. All in all I'm extemely happy with the results. Should get even better over the next few days.

    Still trying to find a good deal on a set of test pipes so I can move up to stage 2.

    Sal and Imran have been awesome to work with thus far and I look forward to working with them again next year for the blower purchase.

    To my knowledge, Evolve hasn't released them to the public as being available to purchase just yet. I know they are coming soon but haven't heard a solid availability date yet.

    Yes. The cold start sequence is GONE.

    Starts up like a normal car and purrs at 650. Doesn't shake, stumble, idle hunt at all and the exhaust leak sound is now non existent.

    This feature alone was worth the $850, lol.

    so can someone give me some feedback on the Evolve Tune? Don't have it in my budget for the E600 s/c kit, so if i can get a boost from a tune that i can afford, i'd be all ears.

    I think I am going to go down this path for the winter. Just picked up my monster and god damn does it put a smile on my face. I just can't believe how ridiculous the S65 is.

    I do want to ditch the cold start big time and also run an x-pipe so may as well get the Evolve NA tune until its time to get the SC kit in summer. Thanks for this thread op, has really helped me.
