To do it right you'll most likely want to pull the crank and machine it down for the new thicker/stronger bearings. Did you ask around on the cost of doing that? I don't think it'd be that cheap at all, $2k?

I'm saying its cheap because i'm only talking about replacing the bearings...no machining. @Mike@VAC what do you think?

VAC has a rod bearing kit with an oil pan baffle that's around 1200, parts only. Bearings on their own are 489. I'd think you have about 10 hours of work there and then some money for regrinding the crank to the new specs. If I was getting into an S65 this would probably be my first "upgrade" Click here to enlarge

After running against LM's car(a really well running and tuned setup) I can say I appreciate the S65 more than when my only experiences were against N/A FBO and ESS blower cars. To be honest though, when the time comes to switch platforms it still won't be an M car.

What was the result of that race? How many car lengths? What distance?

Dude no worries, I got my Blackstone kit in today, and I'll start the thread if it doesn't exist by then. Going to change the oil in a few weeks.

He pulled me by ~4 cars in a ~1500ft race(40mph-~130mph.) Against NA S65s I usually put well over a bus length on and ESS 600 kits I nudge out ahead in the same distance. The same day LM out trapped as ESS 625 by ~5mph IIRC.

Very nice. LM have you raced a rb car in similar circumstance? Since I haven't found a local rb car to run just trying to see how they compare.

Awesome. Raced some N/A and its not even a race. I think there are quite a few s/c cars here in Dallas just haven't had a chance to meet up with one. Looking forward to lining up with one though. Congrats on the new car bobS.
