Are there ANY 335i AWD that have N54 AND DCT???

I would definitely save up for that....

    damn.... wishful thinking.

That is honestly one of the reasons I ALMOST bought a EVO X MR instead of the 335xi. But I got the Bimmer for like 10K less than the MR. (it was a 2010 touring edition, really nice). Couldn't convince myself to pay that much for a japanese economy car with with a badass motor and drivetrain.

You could simply use a 335xi and put on the alpina trans flash to simulate the shift. But if you're thinking about upgrading the clutches on the DCT for a single setup, then it could be interesting Click here to enlarge

Is the Alpina flash really that good? make a normal auto shift as fast as a DCT?

A DCT project on a 335xi sounds very interesting.... but would the time, money, and more money be worth it? Who knows.

No, it's not even close to a DCT.

It's really good, def improvement over the factory 6AT programming, but it's not even remotely close to being as responsive as a DCT (which has the GTS programming to upgrade to).

Nice thing about the 6AT vs. the 6MT is that you can maintain boost through the gears (6MT needs NLS for that) and it's easier off the line. But if you're gonna go beyond stock turbos, save yourself the headache and get a Manual Trans

I've got the Alpina b3 biturbo, RB turbo + FBO. It changes gears like hell, I haven't tried a 335i with the flash to be honest. Although I've got told that the alpina b3 should have some upgrades in the tranny.. not sure though
