    Single Turbo + Jb4 / Flash Tune

Thought I would post this up here, about inquiring Terry@BMS on the steps of tuning a single turbo 335i with the BB Flash / Jb4.

AS far as a base map to start off with and etc..

So Terry can you please explain to us the steps on getting this done.

The short answer is its yet to be determined. Once the kit is on our E92 we'll start writing formal firmware and directions

    But for starters:

    1) Load up the free pump gas back end flash. It runs ~5 degrees tapering up to ~10 degrees which is a good starting point for a single turbo setup.
    2) Configure the factory solenoid as shown and start by testing lower boost levels like 15psi to ensure boost control is working as it should. You can do a map 6 and enter 15 psi all across. With a 12psi wastegate spring it should control 15psi nicely out of the box.

Ok sounds good, now what about those running e85 like me. Just stick with the pump map and work from there?

With E85 you can start with the RACE map.
